it takes a seed, for growth to start 
in nature’s plan, it did it’s part 
through wind and rain, the moon and stars 
it’s symmetry, a work of art

a purchase made, projected bliss
to make it mine, I must insist 
my posts are gold, they all will see
best photo op, in history 

see that little tree
the finest in the land 
looks great in these woods here
but maybe better in my stand

a beauty to behold 
i must cut it down
tangle it with lights 
and keep it til it’s brown
