I see it swirling in its circles
floating up and down and all around the stairs

it even freezes the wet pavement

Beauty falls and winter takes its toll

The whistling wisps of spider silk
are pure and new
wintertime is such a wonder
unless that wonder crashes into you

Shivering and worrying
I'm getting taken up by instinct
I'm shaking
Maybe I could loosen up and brush the dust that's on my shoulders
I can see my windshield crumbling
